Ken Ossola born in Switzerland. Ken Ossola trained as a dancer in Geneva in the Ecole de la danse de Geneve.
In 1989, he joined the NDT II (artistic director: Gerald Tibbs) – the junior troupe of the Netherlands Dance Theatre. In 1992, Ken Ossola switched over to the NDT I, headed by Jiri Kylian . As a member of the original cast, he contributed to many choreographies, among them One of a Kind, Blackbird, Wings of Wax and Bella Figura by Kylian, Alone for a second by Nacho Duato.
In 1999, he left the Netherlands Dance Theatre to carve out a career for himself as a freelance dancer-choreographer. From the Year 2001 to 2002, he also became Ballet Master for the Gothenburg Ballet, artistic director Anders Hellstrom.
During the season 2004-2005 he was ballet master at the Netherlands Dance Theatre 1.
Aside from his freelance career, he is also setting works from Jiri Kylian in many international ballet companies. American Ballet Theatre, Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris, Grands Ballets Canadiens, Ballet de l’Opéra de Münich, Ballet de l’Opéra di Vienna ecc.
